Community Internet Service was designed to meet our customer requests for a low-cost, high-speed Internet connection.

CIS first started by supplying DSL service. In order to supply faster speeds in the future, cable Internet service was introduced as an option. Currently, our cable Internet service is a little faster than DSL. We will continue to increase the cable Internet speed as we can. The available speed is directly related to the number of CIS customers. At some point we will have enough customers to cover the expense of increasing our bandwidth.

CIS uses ADSL technology to get the Internet to your home over the existing phone cabling. Cable modem service will use the existing TV cable.
